I Like Football for the Hors D'ourves

Is everyone ready for Superbowl Sunday? I have no idea who's even playing this year, but I've got my party planned! C'mon, I'm not the only one like that, am I???

Well, here are some ideas you might use for your superbowl party....

Made by Cynthia Rae shows how to make these simple, cheap and easy coasters.

Little Birdie Secrets always has fab ideas. How cute are these football sugar cookies???

Speaking of the superbowl, be sure to serve bottled drinks, then keep the bottle caps for these fun ideas....

Esprit Cabane gives a tutorial on how to make these bottle cap magnets. I love this idea. I'm always running out of magnets.

Craft Beats shows how to make this bottle cap matching memory game. Cute!

I've been wanting to share this cute idea for awhile now....

Parents shows how to make these adorable Pom-Pom pals. Aren't they adorable???

Did you realize January is already almost over? Oh my goodness, did this month fly by or what. And do you remember that next Monday is Groundhog's Day?....

Gourmet Mom on the Go shows how to make these adorable groundhog cookies. The ingredients include chocolate and peanut butter. Sign me up!

If you need any recipes for your superbowl party, or just for some weekend meals, head over to Nana's Kitchen!

The pom pom monsters are so cute!

THe Superbowl goes largely unnoticed in my house--and to me that's only unfortunate because I don't get the party food. Maybe I should have a party anyway...

I'm having a superbowl party, too - and no clue who is playing. I'm not actually planning to watch the game. ;)

I am a football freak, so I always know who is playing... I know I'm weird, but I can live with it. I am rooting for the Arizona Cardinals because they are the underdogs and my team the 49ers suck beyond belief!!:) For our party we are going to try to go healthy this year....ugh. I love the bottle cap ideas and the pom poms! Too cute!

The Pittsburgh Steelers are our team! We grew up in Pittsburgh and it is like against the law not to be Steeler fans! LOL. Anyway, we can't wait for Superbowl Sunday. My husband got some snacks and we will all have our Steeler gear on! Whoo hoo!

We're doing the whole party thing -- and I need to get shopping! I almost want to serve bottled stuff so I can do the cap matching game thing. That is way too cool.

And thanks so much for stopping by my blog yesterday on my SITS day. I had so much fun and am still wading through wonderful comments. I hope you enjoyed yourself and that you come back to visit soon!

I have to say when I first saw that glass of water I thought that was it. That was all you were planning for you party. Thank goodness I scrolled down...although I did get a good giggle.

Those bottle cap magnets are nifty!

We are having a family night in on Superbowl Sunday...just the 4 of us with lots of yummy snacks.

Living in PA, of course we want the Steelers to win. I kinda wish the Eagles were playing though...I like them better. It would have been neat to see the Steelers and Eagles play against each other! 2008-2009 has been the season for Pennsylvania teams...our beloved Penn State went to the Rosebowl (sadly we lost but there is always next year!), our Philadelphia Phillies won the World Series and now the Pittsburgh Steelers have a chance to win the Superbowl. Amazing and exciting.

Have fun this weekend! :)
