Mary

Ever since I read the book Two From Galilee by Marjorie Holmes, I have had so much love and respect for Mary.

She teaches me to be humble, faithful, obedient, to believe in angels. She inspires me to trust the Lord completely, without hesitation. Her example encourages me to have more gratitude and become the type of mother who can raise my children to glorify God.

Thanks to my friend, Mel, for sharing this video with me. It is beautiful.

I also love Mary. What an incredible example to me of what a mother should be like...plus being nine months pregnant, I am AMAZED by her willingness to be with her husband and obey the law to make the long trip to Bethlehem, upon a donkey nontheless. I don't even want to go to Walmart! Thanks for the reminder of what I aspire to be.

Thanks for visiting me Tara! You've got an awesome blog! I love Mary too. I haven't read this book, but it sounds wonderful! The other lady I have profound respect for is Emma, too. Hope you're having a great day. I'll be back.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by blog today. How sweet of you to leave me a comment. I love your cute and inspirational blog KIDZ. What an awesome idea. Your daughter is precious!!

The Caterpillar cake is super easy to make...mixing up the green icing colors was probably the hardest part. Let me know if you would like to know how to make it...I would be more than happy to share the recipe. :)
