Having a child that is non-mobile puts a lot of stress on your back. To help ease the burden and awkward movement of loading and unloading my daughter's manual adaptive stroller into our minivan, I use a suitcase ramp.
We bought our ramp new, but I have seen some great deals on Craigslist and would check there first when we are in the market for another one.
Here are a few other ramp options. Images linked to sources.

Thanks for this posting, very timely since tomorrow I am going with Segev to meet with the allocation committee to see if they will give me an elctric lift for his wheelchair. If not, then I have another option with the portable ramp.
Wow, are they ever hard to pack around. You should see me getting Chloe's into the back of my truck.
Thanks for sharing this. I still lift my daughter's chair into our van. Ugh! Also, I'm wondering if you could share what brand of stroller you have?
Ramps are definitely useful. There's less strain on the body, since there's no need to lift the person or the wheelchair into the car. Well, I hope you guys find a good ramp that's convenient for you and your kid.
