The Climb

I know, I know.... I should be embarassed that I listen to Miley Cyrus, but I am so in love with her latest song. The lyrics are so inspiring!

Chloe just had an equivalency test that said her gross motor skills are equivalent to those of a 1-month-old even though she just turned 2-years-old. She and I work so hard on improving those skills and it was hard to hear that her progress is slow, but we've tried to keep our attitude in align with these lyrics, and 'keep the faith.'

That actually is a great song...I enjoyed it! Its very inspirational!

What I have come to realize is enjoy the days...no matter how small the progress looks...like she says "it aint how fast we get there".

I'm sorry the news was discouraging. :(

Yes, I do love the lyrics of this song. I just wish Miley Cyrus wasn't the one who sang it.

Loved the song - even though my 16-year-old stormed-in and asked why I was listening to MC. lol.

Equally opposite to my feelings about the song are my feelings about the representation the 'evaluators' gave you of your daughter.

How helpful was that? Zero. Even if they said more and other stuff it is clear what you heard and remembered.

Taking your feelings to some encouraging music - very smart. Barbara

I don't think you could of chosen a more perfect song! That is just what Chloe is experiencing. She will get to the top some day and will look back and be grateful to you for the help you have given her with the Climb! Keep being the awesome mom that you are!!!

Oh I'm sorry you didn't get the news you hoped for! Caleb's development is around 3-6 months, and you know... it's okay... it doesn't mean the time you've spent is wasted. I know it makes a difference, even if sometimes it's felt more on the inside, than visible on the outside! You are doing a wonderful job!!!
