Love IS All That Matters Afterall

So Small - Carrie Underwood

When this song first came out, I wasn't a big fan. But one day I was driving home from getting bad news about my daughter's prognosis. I was discouraged and frustrated, to say the least. Then this song came on the radio. The lyrics seemed to be communicated directly to my heart. The overwhelming love I had for Chloe and the love I felt from her shed an undeniable light on our situation, and everything seemed to make sense. It was a truly pivotal moment for me in relation to my daughter's condition. Please take a few minutes to read the lyrics. Especially on this day that celebrates love, I think this song's message is appropriate.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi, Tara. Just found your blog through Life of Logan, we both won awards from Keri! I am glad to have found you and your beautiful little girl, Chloe. I blog about my son, Max, who like Chloe had a rough start (he had a stroke at birth) and continues to have his challenges—but he is still doing really well for himself. Thanks for creating this site, great idea! I look forward to connecting with you here in cyberspace!

Thanks for the reminder. The lyrics to this song are so powerful to me. It's all about perspective and sometimes we need to be reminded.

Sigh. I love this song. One of my very favorites. I actually went and saw her in concert when she was here at the E center in November. The passion that she put into this song had me in tears. It was amazing.

Thanks for sharing.
